The Stuff Detox is a popular detox product that is supposed to help smokers flush out cannabis metabolites out of their systems.
There are not that many detailed reviews with tests. That is why I decided to check it myself!
According to the label, this product has an immediate effect. I do not really believe that but it is worth trying. I am going to follow the instructions provided by the manufacturer and see whether The Stuff Detox is a good solution to detox THC from the body.
Ingredients
The product contains many vitamins, herbs, and minerals, as well as caffeine and creatine. Let us take a closer look at the ingredients:
- Chromium: enhances carbohydrate metabolism.
- Folic acid: makes the urine yellow.
- Magnesium: prevents anxiety and stimulates cell activity to eliminate toxins.
- Manganese: used to activate numerous enzymes.
- Calcium: prevents anxiety and replenishes electrolytes.
- Selenium: helps to detox damaging chemicals in the body.
- Vitamin B1: used to convert carbohydrates into glucose and flush out toxins.
- Vitamin B2: detoxifies the body from noxious chemicals.
- Vitamin B6: gives the urine the yellow color and the natural smell.
- Vitamin B5: vital for making blood cells and converting the food into energy.
- Vitamin B7: supports metabolism.
- Vitamin B12: improves metabolism and speeds up the detox process.
- Sodium: helps to maintain the fluid balance in the body.
- Zinc: makes drug tests less accurate.
- Fruit Pectin: removes unwanted contaminants.
- Burdock Root, Nettle Leaf, Uva Ursi: natural diuretics.
- Milk Thistle: inhibits the activity of enzymes in the liver to decrease THC levels in the urine.
- Creatine: replenishes creatinine in the urine to make it have natural target parameters.
- Caffeine: works as a stimulant and diuretic to make the liver flush out toxins.
I do not really like the contents of The Stuff Detox. It has too many unnecessary ingredients such as Fruit pectin, which can cause diarrhea and stomach cramps.
When it comes to supplements, more is not always the better. This detox drink is loaded with ingredients so it might damage your organs. Therefore, I highly recommend people who have liver and/or kidney disorders to pick another product.
Nevertheless, if you are sure you do not have any problems with the digestion system, The Stuff Detox seems decent. It has enough natural diuretics, creatine, and electrolytes to help your body process marijuana faster and mask the detection of urine dilution.
The product does not contain common allergens. It is available in three flavors: Ferocious Fruit, Gushing Grape, and Citrus Explosion. I picked the latter for my review.
Instructions
The manufacturer claims that The Stuff Detox acts instantly. Obviously, this is not true: just like any other detox drink, it comes into effect several hours after consumption. Do not trust the “Instant Acting!” label on the bottle — it is nothing but false advertising.
Stop using marijuana at least 48 hours before the test if you want to pass it.
You should also drink as much water as you can in order to dilute your urine. The Stuff Detox will help your body to replenish all the diluted elements so the testers will not find out you have tried to cheat them.
Here are the instructions the manufacturer provides:
- Stop using drugs as soon as you find out you will need to pass a drug test;
- Drink a lot of water to increase your chances of passing a drug test;
- Shake the Stuff Detox bottle and drink it several hours before the test;
- Refill the same bottle with water and drink it;
- After 15 minutes, drink another bottle of water;
- Urinate at least three times before the test to flush out THC of your body.
If you have ever used detox products you know these instructions are pretty much standard.
All right, enough talking. Let us get to the most interesting part of the article: the test.
Product Test
I have tested the product using different marijuana test strips. Here is what I did throughout three days:
Day 1
Just as the instructions suggest, I stopped smoking. Moreover, I did not drink any alcohol to minimize toxins in my body.
I have to admit that sobriety is a bit boring. However, I doubled my time at the gym that day, which helped me to concentrate on my main goal: passing the drug test.
By the way, working out is a great way to lose water. It makes you feel thirsty, so you will drink like hell! Remember: the more you urinate the better. At the same time, do not overdo it: water intoxication is a real thing.
I drank a lot of water and urinated dozens of times on the first day.
Day 2
On the second day, I continued my constrained sobriety. I drank lots of water to urinate as often as it is possible.
I took light and healthy meals. Do not even dare to eat fast food during the pre-cleansing period! It contains a lot of toxic ingredients (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6146358/) that slow down the detox process.
Instead, you can eat fruits, vegetables, chicken breast, egg whites, and ancient grains. Many healthy recipes are actually very delicious so you should try them.
Who knows, maybe you will like it and finally change your eating habits!
Test Day
I have been drinking a lot of water on the test day since the very morning.
An alarm clock on my iPhone rang two hours before the test. Several minutes after, I shook the Stuff Detox bottle and drank it.
It smelled nice but the taste was rather odd. However, it did not make me want to puke, which is already a very good result for a detox drink.
A couple of minutes later, I filled the bottle with water and drank it.
15 minutes later, I drank another bottle of water.
As a result, I visited the bathroom four times after consuming the detox product.
Test Results
According to the instructions, this detox drink is the most active about an hour after you take it. It lasts up to five hours.
I followed instructions thoroughly and peed four times prior to the drug test.
Unfortunately, the results were disappointing.
I failed all the drug tests! Three test strips from different brands showed that I am positive for THC.
Conclusion
As you can see, Stuff Detox did not work for me. Despite the fact that I followed all the instructions and abstained from marijuana for three days, the test results were positive.
Obviously, I cannot recommend this product to anyone. There is no guarantee that it will work. Therefore, buy it at your own risk. If I had to pass a drug test, I would choose a better detox product with a higher success rate.
